David R. Leopold

A third generation native of Fairfield County and son of a Realtor, you could say my life has been all about Connecticut real estate! My career includes over 20 years of property management and home inspection experience in this area. I'm a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston and St. Luke's School in New Canaan. I served two terms as president of the Coastal CT Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors and remain an active volunteer on their Board of Directors.

As an expert in condominium operations and community association reserve analysis, I obtained the PCAM designation: Professional Community Associations Manager from the Community Associations Institute. I hold a certification as a FEMA Field Inspector for presidentially declared disasters.

My business has been awarded the Pillar To Post Pinnacle Award five times consecutively at our international conference as a leading franchisee. My wife, Terri, and I have been married for 23 years and we have three children: Brad, Kim, and Bill. Terri is a commercial facilities manager and Brad represents the fourth generation in Fairfield County real estate as a home inspector intern -- there's just no getting away from it in our family!

Eugene G. Autore

Now a partner in the business, Gene joined Pillar To Post in 2002 after a long and successful management career –  which included the distinction of being general manager for the most successful, largest volume Home Depot store in Connecticut. Gene knows houses from the parts in the yard to the nails on the roof!

In addition to the thousands of home inspections Gene has performed for Pillar To Post clients, his inspection experience includes certification as a US Housing & Urban Development S-8 Housing Quality Standards Inspector, and he has worked as an inspector for the City of Norwalk Housing Authority. Currently, Gene is the Education Chair for the Coastal CT Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors arranging valuable continuing education for his fellow ASHI members. Gene is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and has been married to his high energy CEO-wife, Linda, for 35 years. They have three children: Lauren, Jeffrey and Michael.

Bradley R. Leopold

Brad represents the third generation in the family to work in the Fairfield County real estate market, and he is a certified Pillar To Post Inspector who holds a State of Connecticut Home Inspection Intern permit. He began his career picking up radon kits and building Pillar To Post home inspection binders for his dad, and then went on to train along side Gene Autore during summers while attending the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Frederick Korzun

Fred is our office manager, the brains of the administrative operation and chief cook and bottle washer. He is a graduate of City College in New York, and is a retired Director of Supply Management for ABB – a petroleum and chemical plant engineering services firm – where Fred worked in procurement & construction worldwide.
